TOP O’ THE MORNIN’

Enjoy a California Squatter Driven Nearly Insane, and Eventually to Jail, by a Streamer and His Chat

Squatters are something that shouldn’t exist in America as they’re a clear violation of property rights and proof that the government doesn’t recognize private property, just another thing of yours they can have control over.

JD Vance Lights a Match to the Tinder That Is Kamala Harris’ ‘Policies’

Now Harris wants to convince you that after letting the fox into the henhouse, and letting that same fox kill and eat all the chickens, that this fox now deserves to take up residence in the farmhouse.

NEW: Unearthed ACLU Questionnaire Exposes Kamala Harris’ Dangerously Liberal Beliefs

No doubt, some anonymous aide will be along shortly to tell us she’s changed her mind on all these radical positions, but there’s no reason to believe it.

White House What’s Up

President Joe Biden welcomes the University of South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball Team to the White House to celebrate their 2023-2024 NCAA championship season Tuesday morning. Then, in the afternoon, he’ll welcome the University of Connecticut Huskies Men’s Basketball Team to the White House to celebrate their 2023-2024 NCAA championship season.

Tuesday evening, he travels to New York, New York.

The Homestretch

It’s debate day/night for Vice President Kamala Harris. Will she “prosecute” her case to be the next president successfully? Or will she melt? I’ve got to figure out a way to type and edit while covering my eyes. The Veep will leave Philadelphia late Tuesday evening and also head to New York.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tuesday evening for the debate. Minnesota Governor and Democratic running mate Tim Walz will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday for a campaign event, followed by an event in Phoenix, Arizona.

Former President Donald Trump will obviously be in Philadelphia for the debate as well. One suspects if he can manage to maintain discipline similar to what he did in the debate with Biden, he’ll hold his own.

Full Court Press…

Missouri’s Supreme Court will take up the ballot issue regarding the proposed constitutional amendment on abortion on Tuesday, following Friday’s ruling by Circuit Judge Chris Limbaugh that the proposed amendment failed to comply with constitutional and statutory requirements and, therefore, should not be included on the ballot in November. As Tuesday is also the deadline for printing ballots to be mailed to absentee voters, the state’s high court will necessarily issue its ruling the same day. Keep an eye on this one.

Of Primary Concern

Delaware, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island all have primaries on Tuesday.

MORNING MUSING

I don’t know what tonight’s debate will bring us — none of us do. Just as none of us knew what June 27 was going to turn into. I do know that if you look at the candidates’ respective track records regarding debates, as Walter Kirn suggested in Monday night’s “ATW Live” with Matt Taibbi (cued up below), Trump has the edge. But I also know that we live in highly unpredictable times and that the coverage deck is stacked heavily in Harris’ favor. So I’ll be gritting my teeth and watching tonight as we live blog this…momentous event — hope y’all will join us for it. I think it will be better if we all endure it together. And don’t forget the popcorn!
