Tulsi Gabbard’s red-pilling has been interesting to watch. In four years, she has gone from running for president as a Democrat to unseat Donald Trump to supporting Donald Trump’s re-election effort.

In 2019, at a Democrat primary debate, Tulsi Gabbard absolutely eviscerated the then-Senator Harris, who abandoned her presidential bid before the first primary vote was cast.
Watch Kamala Harris’s face when Tulsi Gabbard hammers her on her record as Attorney General of California – she has a very vivid expression of “I can’t believe this upstart is challenging me!” It’s almost Hillary Clinton-esque, Kamala’s sense of entitlement, her arrogance, her condescension.
Now, with all the political drama that has unfolded, Tulsi Gabbard is back and she’s letting us know it. Kamala Harris has gone from an utterly failed candidate in 2019 to Vice President of the United States in 2021 and now, with President Joe Biden’s having withdrawn from the 2024 race, the presumptive Democrat nominee for the presidency.
The former Congresswoman from Hawaii explicitly attacks the vice president’s capacity and strength, when it comes to dealing with hostile foreign leaders – or chicken hawks in our own country.

Kamala Harris is not knowledgeable or strong enough to stand up to potential adversaries, or just as importantly the unelected warmongers — i.e. the Military Industrial Complex which profits from war, and the National Security State which uses these wars as a pretext to further clamp down on our freedom. Like Biden, she will simply be their puppet.
In this, she’s almost certainly correct. Kamala Harris is a fundamentally non-serious person. As the 2024 campaign kicks into high gear, it’s going to very quickly become very apparent that the vice president is not ready for prime time – there are already some early polling indications that voters are looking at her with suspicion.
Tulsi Gabbard is certainly going to continue scorching Kamala Harris on national security and other issues.

Kamala Harris, to put it very bluntly, would be disastrous on the national security front. She has a history of refusing to attend briefings or even read the briefing materials, then berating her staff when she’s not prepared. Her antipathy towards Israel – one of our few allies in the Middle East – is well known, and she has begun her presidential campaign with an obvious snub of the Israeli Prime Minister.

These are not the acts of a serious candidate for national leadership. These are the acts of a spoiled high school drama queen. Tulsi Gabbard is not shy about pointing these shortcomings out, and she’s been doing it since at least 2019.
The Trump campaign should be looking very hard at bringing Tulsi Gabbard into the campaign and then in some capacity into a second Trump administration. Tulsi Gabbard has made a rather remarkable political evolution in the last few years, including her evolution on the Second Amendment.
Tulsi Gabbard isn’t going anywhere. She’s going to be an interesting part of the national political conversation for some time to come.
