TYLER, Texas — The all clear was given after two Tyler Brookshire’s locations were evacuated Friday due to a bomb threat.
Tyler Police spokesperson Andy Erbaugh said that police investigated bomb threats at the Brookshire’s locations on Rice Rd. and 5th St.
Erbaugh said that both locations are back open and nothing was found during the search.
According to a statement from the Brookshire’s Grocery Company, store leadership teams notified law enforcement immediately after receiving the bomb threat and evacuated the buildings.
“We are so thankful for our leaders and local heroes who reacted swiftly to make sure our stores are safe,” the statement said. “BGC’s number one priority is the health and safety of our employee-partners and customers.”
