Two injured in North Dallas house fire, officials say

 

Two people were hospitalized after a fire burned a one-story duplex overnight, officials said.

DALLAS — Two people were hospitalized after a fire burned a North Dallas duplex early Monday morning, officials said. 

Firefighters responded to a fire around 5:47 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 10600 block of Boedeker Street, Dallas Fire Rescue said in a press release. 

Firefighters found the back of a one-story duplex on fire, officials said. As of 7 a.m., firefighters were still working to put out the flames, according to the release. 

Two people were taken to the hospital due to the fire, officials said. The condition and identities of the victims were unknown.
