Two injured, one killed in Garland shooting

 

According to Garland Police, three people were shot and taken to the hospital. One man was later pronounced dead.

GARLAND, Texas — One person is dead and two more are in the hospital after a shooting in Garland, Texas.

According to the Garland Police Department, the shooting happened sometime before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Police say it happened in the 2600 block of West Walnut Street, near the intersection of N. Shiloh Road.

Police say officers arrived on the scene and found three people who had been shot.

GPD says all three people were taken to the hospital. Later, one of the three victims was pronounced dead.

Garland Police say they are not releasing the victim’s identity at this time. If anyone has information, they are urged to call GPD at 972-485-4840.
