A collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle led to the deaths of two motorcyclists Wednesday.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A collision between a car and motorcycle in central Fort Worth led to the deaths of two motorcyclists Wednesday, police said.
Fort Worth police responded to a crash at 11 p.m. May 8 in the 2700 block of 8th Ave. in southcentral Fort Worth, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department.
The incident occurred after a motorcyclist lost control and caused the crash. A second motorcyclist also lost control and was involved in the crash, according to police.
Both motorcyclists later died of their injuries. The Fort Worth Fire Department provided medical care at the scene, police said.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation unit, police said. Victim information will be released once next of kin was notified. Officials didn’t offer any additional information.
