According to a DART spokesperson, there are no delays to services as a result of this incident.
DALLAS — Two people are in the hospital after being shot Tuesday near a DART station in Dallas, police said.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to the reported shooting in the 3000 block of South Boulevard at about 4:16 p.m.
Police said when officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been shot.
Dallas PD said both victims were taken to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, their conditions are unknown.
WFAA chopper footage showed multiple police cars and personnel near Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s (DART) MLK, Jr. Station.
A spokesperson for DART confirmed to WFAA that a suspect in the shooting fired at two people from the DART platform and got away before officers arrived.
The two people injured were not technically on DART property, according to DART.
The DART spokesperson said DART police are leading the investigation with assistance from Dallas PD.
DART said it is not experiencing any delays as a result of the shooting.
