The Vicksburg Post reports the arrests stem from a shooting that occurred on June 6, just outside the Vicksburg, Mississippi, city limits.
TYLER, Texas — The Tyler Police Department has arrested two people for an alleged murder that occurred in Mississippi.
According to Smith County judicial records, Willie Johnson, 24, and Wilmar Johnson, 23, were taken into custody on Friday.
Willie Johnson is being held on one count of murder, while Wilmar Johnson has been charged with murder and drive-by shooting.
The Vicksburg Post reports the arrests stem from a shooting that occurred on June 6, just outside the Vicksburg, Mississippi, city limits. The victim, identified as Devonte Gary, 27, died as a result. Two other suspects were arrested in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bond has not been set.
