Texas A&M’s (44-13) SEC Tournament run ended after just two days, losing consecutive games to Mississippi State and Tennessee, which may be a good thing for a team that needs added rest before heading to the NCAA Tournament late next week. However, the Aggies’ inconsistent offense at the plate has become an issue heading into the most important time of the year.
For the rest of the SEC, this week’s conference tournament has been chaos as usual, as LSU will now face Tennessee in the championship game on Sunday afternoon, as the Tigers have been on quite the roll this month with plenty of momentum heading into next week.
However, let me be the first to remind Aggie fans that even though A&M looked borderline average this week, head coach Jim Schlossnagle has proven time and time again that he knows what he’s doing once summer play arrives. Here are D1Baseball’s updated regional projections ahead of Monday’s selection show.
