Here’s what Fox News’ Sean Hannity said about the shooting in West Palm Beach. Former President Donald Trump was on the 5th hole at the Trump International Golf Course.

The Secret Service threw themselves on the president. Trump is safe.

According to the press conference, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said there was a man in the bushes. They found an AK-47 and a Go-Pro.

A Secret Service agent was one hole ahead of the former president, making sure the area was safe, and spotted the barrel of a rifle poking through the fence line; the agent fired on the man.

The man then fled in his vehicle, but a witness got the tags, and the vehicle was stopped by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

State charges will be filed, and other federal charges are likely coming, authorities said.

Bradshaw said they thought the man was attempting to film what he did. He was in a shrubbery about 400 yards away, with a rifle and a scope that wasn’t a far distance.

The Secret Service said that they have increased the number of agents on Trump, given the threat level.

There was a discussion on Fox about how the 5th hole that Trump was on was close to the street. So, that might indicate the suspect could be someone who knew that.

Trump sent out word after the incident:

Trump told FNC host Bret Baier to tell everyone he was fine, that the Secret Service did their job. Thank God, they did it this time. His first concern was that his golfing partner and everyone else was alright.

But there are still questions.

How did someone with an AK-47 get that close to being within sight of the president?
