NDTV – A twin-engine propeller plane crashed onto a Texas highway on Wednesday and split into two parts, damaging cars and injuring at least four people in the process, according to authorities.

The aircraft crashed on the State Highway Loop 463 in southern Texas’s Victoria at around 3 pm, hitting three cars and splitting into two, leaving debris on the runway, according to NBC News. Videos shared on social media showed the plane flying very low before landing on a street.

Three people had non-life-threatening injuries after the crash and the fourth was taken to another facility for a higher level of care, police said. “We are glad that it wasn’t worse than what it is. This is not something we see every day. But we are glad that people seem to be OK, and they are getting checked out,” said Deputy Police Chief Eline Moya.
