DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating the death of someone who was shot hours after the beginning of the new year.
According to police, officers were called at about 2:40 a.m. to the 2600 block of West Colorado Boulevard, where they found the victim unresponsive on the ground.
Dallas Fire Rescue also responded, and the victim died at the scene, officials said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
