Victim, suspect identified in fatal shooting

 

Dallas police released the name of the victim and suspect involved in a shooting that occurred in South Dallas Saturday.

DALLAS — Dallas Police released the name of a suspect in the shooting death of 23-year-old Curtis Dowell Sunday. 

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) responded to a shooting at at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, May 18 in the 3400 block of York Street. Officers found Dowell shot and he was taken to a hospital where he died, police said. 

Dallas police have identified Jamee Parsons, 31, as a suspect and issued an arrest warrant for him. He is not currently in custody, police said.
