  • FRANCINE: Now a category 1 hurricane, makes landfall in Louisiana Wednesday afternoon. Minimal impact to Texas Coast (higher surf than usual). No rain for San Antonio

FORECAST

The humidity is slowly rising and will be very noticeable by tomorrow morning, and this will have a direct impact on morning lows, which will soon be back in the 70s. Afternoon temperatures will rise a bit with highs in the mid to upper 90s by Friday and Saturday, and when you factor in the humidity, it’ll feel like 100°.

HURRICANE FRANCINE

Clouds from Hurricane Francine have moved over San Antonio and should set the stage for a beautiful sunset. Otherwise, Francine will have just a small impact on Texas beaches with minimal rain, and surf a few feet higher than usual.

Francine recently strengthened into a category 1 storm and will make landfall along the middle Louisiana coast Wednesday afternoon. Storm surge could get as high as 10 ft in parts of Louisiana. Rainfall totals could be as high as 9″-12″ in parts of Louisiana.
