Hundreds of protestors have gathered near Downtown Dallas to march in opposition to ICE raids happening across the country.

Protest organizers planned to meet at the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge around 7 p.m. Monday.

In a social media post, the march was described as a movement in solidarity with Los Angeles, where the Pentagon has deployed nearly 700 Marines and members of the National Guard.

Police have been present at the protest since its beginning on Monday evening, and WFAA cameras have captured officers detaining at least two protestors.

Around 9:40 p.m., Dallas PD declared the protest an unlawful assembly, meaning protestors must disperse or face possible arrest.

The Dallas Police Department released the following statement ahead of the demonstration:

“The Dallas Police Department is aware of the activity planned for Monday, June 9th, at Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The Department will not interfere with a lawful and peaceful assembly of any individuals or groups expressing their first amendment rights. Participants will see our patrols as they always do at large events. Our main priority remains the safety of the people who live, work, and visit the city of Dallas.”
