After MSNBC’s continuous coverage of then-candidate Joe Biden saying we need to bring back unity and truly become the United States of America, they have worked overtime to divide the country further. It’s no secret that the media often aims to divide and conquer.
Following the alleged distrust by some Trump supporters for the United States government due to the FBI raiding Mar-a-Lago, MSNBC host Tiffany Cross said she fears that “the civil war is here.”
The MSNBC host referenced a Jay Z song, saying:
“Well 45 have 99 problems and the truth is definitely one … Mango Mussolini claims that he had a ‘standing order to declassify documents that were removed from the Oval Office and taken to the residence.'”
“But 18 former top Trump aides, including two former chiefs of staff, tell CNN that’s complete fiction, ‘complete fiction,’ and plain old’ ‘BS.'”
These are the same people who criticized Trump for all the name-callings. Mango Mussolini? Seriously? But the name-calling didn’t stop there for Cross.
She went on to say:
“Now that’s not great news for the Velveeta Voldemort, whose former lawyer Rudy Giuliani claims he took the sensitive documents, some of them top secret to keep in mind, to keep them safe in Mar-a-Lago’s basement that lacks a proper lock.”
“Now personally I think the National Archives makes more sense, but that’s just me and millions of other rational Americans.”
One of the problems with MSNBC is that they don’t have any actual journalists. It’s mainly opinion-based shows, and they generalize any group and individual who dares to disagree with their views. For all the Trump and Ron DeSantis bashing they do over at MSNBC, they don’t bring on any Republicans who support Trump or DeSantis; they only bring on those who agree with them 100 percent of the time. On the other hand, Fox News has several journalists who bring people on who don’t necessarily agree with them; same with CNN. That is what is needed for these networks so that people can make up their own minds instead of being bombarded at all times about one side being “good” and the other being “evil.”
Cross added:
“There’s a very real possibility that a former President of the United States could actually be indicted for violating the Espionage Act or other federal statutes and the MAGA mob is losing its ever-loving collective mind.”
After she said that, she mentioned that a second civil war had started, and she referenced the concerns of conservatives about the 87,000 new IRS agents that would be added in the next ten years:
“In the last two weeks threats against the FBI and other law enforcement agencies have surged and even some GOP senators are getting in on the act, depicting number crunchers at the IRS as thought they’ll be bursting through doors like the Kool-Aid man for tax infractions.”
Now just imagine the outrage from the other side had this been Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters, or any of the other Fox News host saying to pick up a weapon for the safety and preservation of the United States.
As I reported earlier this week, Texas cattle ranchers gave a stark warning to Americans after the Democrats’ legislation included $80 billion in IRS funding.
Cross concluded by saying:
“The spike of violent rhetoric on MAGA message boards is reminiscent of what occurred before the deadly January 6 insurrection. We all remember that.”
“It’s not like the civil war is coming, it feels like the civil war is here.”
The media constantly pushing these talking points does not benefit anybody except their ratings and name recognition. This is dangerous rhetoric, and it must stop. We need to unite the country, but as it stands, we are further divided because of the constant political tension and the current state of America.
