Four astronauts will blast off from the Kennedy Space Center, kicking off the return process for two astronauts who’ve been stuck in space for nine months.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — NASA’s two stuck astronauts will soon be returning to Earth after nine months in space.
On Wednesday night, the crew replacements for Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will blast off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, along with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Takuya Onishi and Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft named Endurance.
Liftoff of the four-person crew is scheduled for 6:48 p.m. CT. The Crew-10 astronauts are scheduled to arrive at the space station Thursday, around 5 a.m. CT.
