Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, and made abortion a state issue, the Democrat party and their allies in the media have been using this issue as a fear-mongering tactic to rile up people to vote in droves. They framed the issue as “women’s rights” and attempted to convince voters that they are fighting to protect “women’s rights,” but the only right Democrats speak about is abortion.

Not safety, biological males competing in women’s sports, etc. Now, we might have an idea of why they might be so fixated on abortion.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was part of the “White Dudes for Harris” virtual campaign event, and of course, abortion was one of the topics discussed.
Buttigieg said:
I’m so glad she [Harris] has made freedom the theme of her campaign, because I think in so many ways that’s at stake. Of course, women’s freedom is Exhibit A after Donald Trump demolished the right to choose. But, of course, men are also more free in a country where we have a president who stands up for things like access to abortion care.

When asked by Fox News Digital to expand on what he meant by his egregious comment, Buttigieg’s office did not respond at press time.
For weeks, the mainstream media has spent the majority of their attention on past comments of GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance; while fawning over the “White Dudes for Harris” campaign event, yet they have not mentioned Buttigieg’s comments about abortion, which speaks volumes. His comments were so absurd that the liberal media did not want to cover it.

The vice president of communications and marketing for Heartbeat International, Andrea Trudden, had this to say about Buttigieg’s remark:
This perspective not only undermines the value of women and their inherent dignity, but also perpetuates a culture that evades responsibility and fails to support women in their time of need. This is a stark reminder of the cultural shift that needs to happen – one where men are called to embrace their roles as responsible adults who support women and children.
Ashley McGuire, senior fellow with The Catholic Association had this to say about Buttigieg’s comment:
Buttigieg is just admitting what we have always known about abortion: that it empowers men to exploit women. Buttigieg’s male ‘freedom’ comes at the cost of women’s freedom. It creates a world where men are ‘free’ to use women and women are coerced into abortions they don’t want to have. That’s not authentic freedom. It’s just domination by another name.
President of the National Right to Life Committee, Carol Tobias, said:
Pete Buttigieg is recklessly suggesting that legal abortion makes men ‘more free’ as they can push a woman into having an abortion in order to shun responsibility. If men are part of creating a new life, they should accept the responsibility that goes along with caring for their child and the child’s mother.
Lastly, Emily Davis, who is a communications spokeswoman for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, compared his comments to her ex-boyfriend who tried to pressure her into having an abortion. Davis refused and gave birth:

Not only have I experienced this firsthand, but every day more women come forward to talk about how they were pressured or coerced into unwanted abortions, often by male partners.
These brave women have a question for the Democrats: Where was our freedom?” Davis said, using italics for emphasis. “So far, the Democrats have no answer. Under Abortion Czar Kamala Harris, they’re too committed to pushing an all-trimester, no-limits abortion agenda.
As the media remains focused on Vance pointing out that Democrats should promote pro-family and pro-child values, Buttigieg said the quiet part out loud: Men will have more “freedom” if women are able to freely abort children. It is a disgusting statement made by Buttigieg and whether he will try to walk it back or not, it won’t matter because people will not forget his way of thinking about abortion.
