Siblings JJ and Serenity have been living in separate foster homes for a year and a half.
RICHARDSON, Texas — The cuteness factor is off the charts with today’s Wednesday’s Child.
A lucky North Texas family should prepare for double the joy with 12-year-old Jakyron aka JJ and his sister, 9-year-old Serenity.
Front flips, back flips, and flying splits were just a few of the amazing athletic abilities we saw from JJ and Serenity at Altitude Trampoline Park in Richardson.
“When I get adopted, I hope my room can be cheetah-themed because I like cheetahs. My favorite color is pink, purple, and gold,” said Serenity.
She is vibrant, adorable, and cherishes her brother.
“He always cares for me, he always stands up for me and he makes me laugh,” she said.
Jakyron, who goes by the nickname JJ, is one of the sweetest humans you’ll ever meet. He and his sister are quite the duo! They like to make up dance cheers and run around together doing gymnastics.
“She’s not afraid to show who she is, and she cares about me,” JJ said.
While Serenity is louder and more boisterous, JJ is quieter and soft-spoken. The joy you feel when you’re with the two of them is life.
“I’m laughing so hard I can’t even throw,” said JJ as he cackled during a mean game of dodgeball on the trampolines.
He’s also very artistic and loves to dance. He wore a Batman shirt which he made sure to point out to us.
“I like Batman,” JJ said. “He’s my favorite superhero.”
These children need superhero parents who will be loving, patient and committed to adopting them together.
“I want a forever home and I hope a family will adopt us,” said Serenity with tears in her eyes.
Serenity gets emotional talking about adoption because she and JJ have been living in separate foster homes for a year and a half.
“I want to be adopted with him,” she said with tears streaming down her face.
Serenity turns 10 years old next month and the only present she wants for her double-digit birthday is to be adopted with her brother.
“When I get adopted, I want the family to be loving, caring for us, for me and my brother JJ, and to have a dog,” she said.
“A family that loves us and that will give us a great future,” added JJ.
