The 2024 college baseball season has been exciting, to say the least, especially for No.1-ranked Texas A&M (36-5, 13-5 SEC), who have continued to dominate in SEC play behind an elite hitting lineup as Gavin Grahovic, Jace LaViolette, and future MLB first-round pick Braden Montgomery have kept the Aggies in contention for an SEC regular season title.
This weekend, A&M will host No. 17-ranked Georgia Friday-Sunday, as the Aggies look to win another SEC series before hosting the SEC-leading Arkansas Razorbacks in short time.
Ahead of Week 11, Aggies Wire looks down the road as D1 Baseball’s newest regional projections have been released. Unsurprisingly, the SEC is well represented from top to bottom as the toughest conference in the country is deemed to produce several teams to the College World Series.
With the conclusion of Week 10, here are D1 Baseball’s newest NCAA Tournament seeding projections, including all 16 regional hosts.
Note: The NCAA Tournament selection show will be held May 27 at noon EDT ahead of regional (May 31-June 3) and super-regional (June 7-10) play. The College World Series will be contested June 14-24 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
