WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The City of Wichita Falls has announced that members of the city’s legal office have received prestigious awards.
City Attorney Kinley Hegglund, and Deputy City Attorneys Julia Vasquez and James McKechnie have been awarded the International Municipal Lawyers Association Fellows designation.
According to the City of Wichita Falls, the prestigious IMLA Local Government Fellows Program was established to recognize attorneys as legal specialists in the field of local government law and to encourage attorney proficiency and competency in the local government legal field.
There are only 96 certified Government Fellows in the United States and Canada.
