El Paso, TX (KFOX14/CBS4) — Senate incumbent Ted Cruz made a stop in El Paso only two days before election day.
Sunday at Million Air El Paso on the East side Cruz spoke to voters about his platform.

Cruz told KFOX14/CBS4 that the economy and small businesses are growing here in Texas, and he wants to continue to keep taxes low.
He also says that the Democratic party has largely ignored El Paso, he stated that Kamala Harris and Colin Allred are promoting open borders.
The people of El Paso know that open borders, they’re not humane, they’re not compassionate, they’re cruel, and it’s wrong.
Cruz told KFOX/CBS4 that in the Hispanic community, he thinks values are fundamentally conservative. He said “Faith, family, patriotism, the American dream, those are conservative values.”
He also slammed opponent Colin Allred for numerous voting decisions made during his time in congress.

Cruz is looking to hold a third term as a senator.
Texas has not elected a Democratic senator in three decades.
However, recent polls have shown the race tightening in the lone star state.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
