Woman allegedly threatening others at West Side home shot by San Antonio police

  

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police officers shot a woman who was allegedly making threats to several people at a home on the West Side, according to SAPD.

Officers were called to the home in the 200 block of Loma Park Drive on the West Side around 1:45 a.m. Monday.

There, police found a 30-year-old woman who showed up at her ex-boyfriend’s house and allegedly threatened to harm those present, police said.

The woman had something in her hand and motioned the object, believed to be a knife, toward the officers. The officers shot the woman twice, according to SAPD.

At last check, the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police did not provide information after the shooting. It is unclear how many officers were on the scene.
