Woman found dead in RV fire in Pleasanton, officials say

PLEASANTON, Texas – Firefighters found a woman dead inside of an RV after it went up in flames in Pleasanton early Friday, according to the Pleasanton Fire Department.

The fire happened around 7:44 a.m. in the 200 block of Jeff Street.

Four units responded, and firefighters were able to extinguish the flames within five to seven minutes, according to PFD.

After the fire was put out, firefighters went inside the RV, where they found the woman deceased. No other injuries were reported.

The woman’s name and age haven’t been released.

PFD, the Pleasanton Office of Emergency Management, Pleasanton Police Department and the State Fire Marshal’s office were all called to aid in the fire response.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
