SAN ANTONIO – A woman was shot multiple times, and a male was stabbed in the head during a disturbance at a West Side dollar store, according to San Antonio police.
The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 4800 block of West Commerce Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a woman, 17, who had been shot four times in the stomach, police said.
SAPD said the woman was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers received another call shortly after responding to the scene about a male who was stabbed in the head, police said.
The male was taken to a hospital by a family member, according to police. His condition is currently unknown.
A preliminary report from SAPD on Tuesday said investigators believe the 15-year-old boy was the suspect.
Police said an argument between several teenagers in the store prompted the shooting and stabbing, according to the report.
SAPD’s report does not indicate if any other people in the store were suspects.
