THE COLONY, Texas — The PGA TOUR and Cosm announced a partnership Wednesday to present THE PLAYERS Championship 2025 in Shared Reality.
The tournament will tee off from March 11 to March 16 in in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., but North Texans can get transported to the 16th, 17th and 18th holes at DFW’s immersive entertainment dome venue in The Colony. The venue, which boasts an 87-foot-diameter LED dome, opened in August of last year during college football season and kicked off with marquee college football games including Clemson at Georgia and Notre Dame at Texas A&M.
Since its opening, the stunning imagery of the venue has taken over social media, with numerous clips of Premier League soccer matches, UFC fights and, most recently, NASCAR races going viral.
Cosm said in a press release that its broadcast will feature never-before-utilized camera positions on these legendary holes, creating an unparalleled viewing experience.

After opening its first two locations in Los Angeles and Dallas in 2024, the company announced two more locations set to open in downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Yards and downtown Detroit, next to Campus Martius.
