Broadway Dallas announces 2023 Broadway Series

Shows coming to Dallas include Hamilton, Les Misérables and Hairspray.

DALLAS — Broadway Dallas has announced its lineup for its 2023-2024 Broadway series, and it’s stacked with big shows fitting of its namesake. 

The series is composed of eight different musicals and kicks off Nov. 21 at Music Hall at Fair Park and will run through Aug. 18, 2024. 

“We’re thrilled to announce such a fantastic season, with four shows premiering at the Music Hall for the very first time and several crowd pleasers making their return. This season has something for everyone,” said Ken Novice, President and CEO of Broadway Dallas, in a statement. 

Season tickets are on sale now with packages starting at $230. Anyone interested can visit BroadwayDallas.org or call 866-276-4884 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to subscribe. The tour kicks off with “MJ,” running from Nov. 21 to Dec. 3 at Music Hall at Fair Park. Centered around Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, “MJ” received numerous Tony nominations, including Best Musical. 

Following that, the series will show “Les Misérables” from Dec. 20-31, then resume in 2024 with “Tina — The Tina Turner Musical,” running from Jan. 23 to Feb. 4, 2024. 

The musical version of “Beetlejuice” will be played next from Feb. 20 to March 3, 2024, followed by “Girl From the North Country” from April 9-21. 

“Hamilton,” one of the most famous musicals of the last decade, will then be performed as part of the series. The multi-Tony Award-winning musical will run from May 8 to June 9, 2024, at the Winspear Opera House. 

The series then resumes at Music Hall at Fair Park with “Hairspray” from June 18-30, 2024, before closing with “Funny Girl,” which runs from Aug. 6-18, 2024.
