SAN ANTONIO – A 1-year-old child was critically injured after being hit by car Tuesday afternoon on the city’s South Side.
Police said the child’s mother was involved in a disturbance outside of a store in the 5100 block of South Flores Street around 4 p.m. when the child got out of the car and was hit by another vehicle.
The child was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Charges are not expected to be filed against the driver since they stopped to render aid.
