The Dallas Cowboys suffered a few bumps and bruises during their 27-13 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 but quarterback Dak Prescott is no worse for wear.

Despite the fact that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott grimaced, held his right knee, and walked gingerly near the end of the first half of their 27-13 win over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football at Nissan Stadium, Jerry Jones declared the two-time Pro Bowler fine.
The Cowboys owner, president, and general manager told “K&C Masterpiece” on 105.3 “The Fan” [KRLD-FM] on Friday that he didn’t know specifically what happened to Prescott, but that he was comfortable with the field general’s prognosis.
“He’s in good shape,” Jones said. “I don’t know what happened. He may have hyperextended a little bit, but I knew almost immediately — we were checking with the team and checking with the sideline and we knew he was going to be good.”
Prescott finished the game completing 29 passes on 41 attempts for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while being taken down for a sack once. The Cowboys’ signal caller had a 70.7% completion percentage and an 85.6 passer rating while playing through a rainy first quarter and a soggy field in Nashville, Tennessee. Prescott also lost a fumble after a botched exchange with center Tyler Biadasz.
Since Prescott’s return from a Week 1 thumb injury on Oct. 23, he has had just two games without a turnover. Prescott has had at least one turnover in the past five straight games, but Jones is not concerned.
“The kind of turnovers that you should be concerned about — judgment turnovers — the judgment turnovers, I feel great that we got a quarterback that can look past those and execute without those turnovers,” Jones said. “I don’t think that will beat us in the playoffs. I do not think turnovers will beat us in the playoffs. If we have them, then they will, but I don’t think it’s going to be the issue in the playoffs.”
The Cowboys punched their ticket to the postseason after the results of Week 15. If the Philadelphia Eagles lose at home to the New Orleans Saints in Week 17, Dallas will still have a shot at the NFC East and the No. 1 seed when they visit Washington in Week 18.
Having the season finale at FedEx Field would render the results inconsequential from Dallas’ perspective as they are already projected to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC wild-card, pending the Eagles winning the division this Sunday.
