In memory of John Randal Satterwhite of Midlothian.

R E S O L U T I O N

 

       WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of John

 

Randal Satterwhite of Midlothian, who passed away on April 3, 2025,

 

at the age of 49; and

 

       WHEREAS, Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on December 24,

 

1975, John Satterwhite was the son of Randal and Carol Satterwhite,

 

and he grew up with the companionship of his sister, Nicole; after

 

moving to Calallen when he was 15, he graduated from Calallen High

 

School, where he played football; he went on to receive a bachelor’s

 

degree from Texas A&M University; in 2003, he married his wife,

 

Kathleen, and two years later, the couple settled in Midlothian;

 

and

 

       WHEREAS, Mr. Satterwhite was a highly respected professional

 

who enjoyed a rewarding and successful career in the construction

 

industry; he distinguished himself as vice president of Lloyd D.

 

Nabors Demolition for two decades and then as a regional manager of

 

the ROMCO Equipment Company, and he also served on the board of

 

directors of the National Demolition Association; over the years,

 

he was recognized numerous times for his outstanding leadership;

 

active in his community, he coached teams in the Midlothian Youth

 

Football League, and he further lent his time and talents to the

 

organization’s board and as president of the Midlothian Heritage

 

Football Booster Club; and

 

       WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Satterwhite was

 

the proud father of two children, Morgan and Ryan, and he delighted

 

in supporting them in their extracurricular activities; in his

 

leisure time, he took pleasure in playing golf and football,

 

attending concerts, and spending time with his dogs; and

 

       WHEREAS, Admired for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and

 

commitment to his family, friends, and community, John Satterwhite

 

lived a rich and purposeful life, and he will forever be a source of

 

inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it

 

       RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

 

Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of John Randal

 

Satterwhite and extend sincere sympathy to all who mourn his

 

passing; and, be it further

 

       RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

 

prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of

 

Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of John

 

Satterwhite.
