Several States Suing Biden Over Student Loan Forgiveness

A lawsuit has been filed by 14 states plus the District of Columbia challenging President Biden’s student loan forgiveness initiative. According to the plan, debts for borrowers who earn less than $125,000 year would be forgiven up to $10,000. According to the complaint, the revocation goes against American-established principles of the separation of powers, The Administrative Procedure Act, and the Constitution. It was submitted on Tuesday in a Missouri federal district court.
