Severe storm damages multiple businesses and hospital, shuts down I-35 near Texas border

   

MARIETTA, Okla. (KOKH) — Severe storms destroyed several businesses in a town off I-35 near the Texas border Saturday night.

In Marietta, the Dollar General, a grocery store, a convenience store and Marietta Memorial Hospital suffered severe damage from the storms.

The Dollar Tree distribution center took a direct hit from the tornado.

Jake Spencer shared aerial footage of the damage along I-35 in Marietta with FOX 25.

I-35 northbound near the Texas/Oklahoma border was shut down for more than six hours Saturday night into Sunday morning. Several cars and trucks flipped on the highway after a tornado-warned storm moved through the area Saturday night.
