At A Glance: The Tigers took a wild path to their first NCAA regional since 2010, having to go 5-1 in six SWAC tournament games. Grambling lost to Florida A&M 17-7 in 7 innings in the second game and came back to beat the Rattlers 9-3 and 14-11, before edging Jackson State 6-5 in the finals … Cardiac Tigers scored two in the ninth to win in the finals, rallied for two in the eighth and three in the ninth to win 14-11 in the semifinals and scored five in the eighth to win 11-10 in the quarterfinals … Reliever Javier Martinez had four outings in the six tourney games, giving up 11 hits, five walks and 11 strikeouts in 11 innings.
