The “extended reality” market is projected to be a $10.3 billion industry in 2024. To prepare students for it, a new Virtual Production Institute will be part of the Texas A&M School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts. It will be based at A&M’s Bryan-College Station campus with an extension at the new Texas A&M-Fort Worth campus.
