SAN ANTONIO – Two men were shot while skating at a park on the North Side, and San Antonio police said they’re still working to track down the suspects responsible.
The shooting happened around 7:51 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Fresno Street, near Santa Paula Avenue and Neer Avenue.
Police said both of the men, ages 19 and 20, went to a house on Fresno Street for help after the shooting.
They didn’t know the people inside of the home but asked for help. That’s when SAPD was notified.
The two men told officers they were shot at a park where they were skating. Police went to three parks nearby but were unable to locate a crime scene.
The two men were taken by EMS to an area hospital for treatment, and their injuries are life-threatening.
Police are still working to track down the suspects. This is a developing story and we’ll bring more updates as they become available.
