University Investigating Female Athlete Over Confrontation With Transgender Individual in Restroom

Payton McNabb, a female volleyball player who suffered long-term injuries after competing with a biological male experiencing gender dysphoria, is being investigated by a North Carolina University after a confrontation with a transgender female in one of the college’s restrooms.

McNabb filmed her encounter with a biological male in the women’s restroom. The footage of the altercation went viral on social media. In the video, the viewer can hear McNabb asking the individual “Why are you in the girls’ bathroom?”

The transgender individual responds: “I’m a trans girl.”

“But you’re not a girl,” McNabb retorted.

The person countered: “Interesting, I’ve never had this before. I don’t know what to say, I’m sorry you feel that way.”

The video ends with McNabb saying she pays “a lot of money to be safe in the bathroom.”

May Mailman, director of Independent Women’s Law Center, the organization representing McNabb, told Fox News Digital that dealing with men in “intimate spaces can be an extremely uncomfortable and emotionally distressing experience for women.”

The director noted that folks like McNabb have “suffered and continue to experience trauma” because of competing with biological males.” She accused the college of being “more interested” in “investigating a polite inquiry of what a man is doing in a woman’s bathroom” than addressing the pro-Hamas protests on campus.

In September 2022, McNabb was injured after a biological male spiked a volleyball into her face. The incident is one of several in which female athletes have been physically harmed by biological males.

A female high school volleyball player who was injured by a crushing spike to the face from a transgender athlete in September 2022 is speaking out, describing the severe concussion she suffered and saying succinctly, “Allowing biological males to compete against biological females is dangerous.”

Payton McNabb, a senior at Hiwassee Dam High School in Murphy, N.C., detailed for the first time the effects of the injury at a press conference Wednesday:

On Sept. 1, 2022, I was severely injured in a high school volleyball game by a transgender athlete on the opposing team. I suffered from a concussion and a neck injury that to this day I am still recovering from. Other injuries I still suffer from today include impaired vision, partial paralysis on my right side, constant headaches, as well as anxiety and depression.

This development comes just after the Biden administration revamped Title IX rules to advance the initiative to force biological males into women’s spaces. The White House seeks to use the government to enforce progressive gender ideology on America.

Several lawsuits have been filed against the Biden administration over the rule changes. But it will likely be a long and hard-fought battle. Unfortunately, until the fight is over, there will be more female athletes like McNabb who fall victims to those trying to compel everyone else to conform to progressive views on gender — especially when it comes to sports.
