You’ll need a jacket…
In just about every serious conversation surrounding Notre Dame Football’s season opening game against the Texas A&M Aggies, the late August weather in the Lone Star state will eventually come up. How hot is too hot?
Well, if you just so happen to live in the Midwest right now, you know all about the heat this week. It won’t be any better in College Station on Saturday.
The heat is a real danger. The forecast has the temperature hitting 90 during the morning hours, and with a thunderstorm rolling in during the day — the humidity won’t be fun either.
This is a prime time matchup, so the heat will start going down with the sun, but the humidity is going to stick around. All of it is going to be a gigantic test of will by both teams. It will be interesting to see how much the Irish practice outdoors this week, with comparable weather in South Bend.
