Woman charged with murder after allegedly killing two people near Fair Park

 

The suspect, 65-year-old Doris Walker was arrested and charged with Capital Murder. The investigation is ongoing.

DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating the deaths of 17-year-old Drenesia Willis and 40-year-old LaNeshaia Pinkard after both were found shot in an apartment a few blocks away from Fair Park.

Police responded to a shooting call around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of South Boulevard, which is approximately one mile southwest from Fair Park. The two women were taken to a local hospital where they died, according to police.

Doris Walker, 65, is the suspected shooter and knew the victims, police said. Walker was charged with Capital Murder and taken to Dallas County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
