Carriqui to host ’70s themed New Year’s Eve celebration

SAN ANTONIO – Carriqui is ringing in the new year with a ’70s themed celebration.

The event will be from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 239 E. Grayson St. near the Pearl.

Guests can expect the night to include Buttercup and DJ Steven Lee Moya performances, a champagne toast at midnight, and breakfast taco parting gifts, according to a news release.

Attendees can opt to dress in ’70s attire for the party, but it is not required.

Carriqui is throwing the event to commemorate the Carriqui building in the 1970s, known as Boehler’s Garden, which was renowned for enjoyable gatherings, according to the news release.

Tickets to the event can be purchased online.
