Pedestrian struck and killed by car at MoPac and Capital of Texas Highway
AUSTIN (KXAN) — A person died Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in North Austin, according to a tweet from Austin-Travis County EMS.
The crash happened at MoPac and Capital of Texas highway just before 8:50 p.m.
First responders performed CPR, but the efforts were unsuccessful. The patient was pronounced dead at the scene.
Austin Police said the driver stayed behind and cooperated with investigators at the scene.
