Portion of US 75 in Collin County will be shut down in one direction Monday night

The northbound lanes of the 75 will be closed at Ridgeview Drive as crews work on the ongoing bridge replacement project.

COLLIN COUNTY, Texas — A stretch of the U.S. 75 highway in Collin County will be shut down entirely Monday night until 5 a.m. Tuesday for construction.

The northbound lanes of the 75 will be closed at Ridgeview Drive as crews work on the ongoing bridge replacement project.

TxDOT said traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads, so drivers should plan for extra travel time. The lanes will close at 9 p.m. Monday and re-open at 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The construction work is part of the $45.9 million bridge replacement project. The project was awarded to Indus Construction and is scheduled for overall completion in the summer of 2024.
