Texas A&M basketball player arrested, charged with sexual assault

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – College Station police arrested a Texas A&M student and charged him with sexual assault for an incident that occurred on Oct. 14.

Julius Marble, 23, is also on the Texas A&M’s men’s basketball team, but he missed the entire 2023-2024 season due to “university policy.”

Police records show Marble invited a group of people to his apartment after leaving Northgate. Once home, he took another person into his room where records show he sexually assaulted the person.

The survivor told officers they protested verbally and physically against the assault.

After an extensive investigation, officers arrested Marble on Thursday. He is currently in the Brazos County Jail on a bond set for $50,000.

He transferred to A&M from Michigan State ahead of the 2022-23 season.
