The Lie-Able Sources Podcast: The Resorting to Cliches Edition

Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarky.

For this foray into the forsaken realm of journalism, we find the press routinely resorting to the familiar tropes they regularly trot out for the public. To start, President Jose Biden had yet another instance of speaking with verbal hand grenades, this time by declaring Vlad Putin is losing the war in “Iraq.” The press sprung into action by cleaning up the verbal spillage on his behalf.

On CNN, Anderson Cooper brought on Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein to discuss Donald Trump’s troubles. You get one guess what Carl compared things, which he then tried to declare Trump to be a worse example. Next, there was a wan attempt by the CEO of Anheuser-Busch to repair things with an appearance on CBS Mornings, and then we’ll look at an exhaustive but utterly pointless investigation by Reuters to see how many leaders are descendants of slave owners.

Now crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
