BREAKING: Grand Jury Indictment Hands Down New Indictment of Donald Trump, Former President Releases Statement
While the details are still sparse, a grand jury handling matters related to January 6th for special counsel Jack Smith has handed down an indictment.
As of now, it has been sealed by the judge, though Smith is set to speak soon and will presumably reveal the charges and specifically identify Donald Trump as the recipient.
Trump’s team has already confirmed that fact, though, releasing a preemptive statement following what they found out inside the courtroom.
What the specific charges will be aren’t known yet. They could deal with specific happenings on January 6th, the “stop the steal” fundraising efforts, the alternate electors scheme, or all of those things.
As soon as Smith speaks, RedState will publish a new story on what is revealed. Stay tuned.
